Media Rounds is a digital news outlet, but behind the daily headlines sits a working newsroom that offers a defined set of services to readers, partners and clients. This page describes what we do, who it is for, and how engagements are structured. Everything listed here is provided by Media Rounds and the 24World Media network, and everything editorial remains governed by our published Code of Ethics and Corrections policy.
News coverage and content licensing
Our core service is original digital journalism: daily news reports across World, Politics, Business, Technology, Sports, Entertainment, Health and Science, plus video summaries built from official channel sources. Organizations that need reliable coverage for their own audiences — community portals, email newsletters, corporate intranets and partner publications — can license selected Media Rounds reporting for republication under agreed terms. Licensed stories carry our desk bylines and their correction trail travels with them: if we update or correct a story, licensees are notified, so your audience receives reporting that stays accurate after publication. Licensing is available by section, by volume, or as a standing daily feed of the stories our desks judge most significant.
Custom content and brand publishing
Brands and organizations increasingly need journalism-grade content: explainers, industry briefings, executive interviews, event coverage and research summaries written to a professional standard. Our desks produce commissioned features, question-and-answer interviews, product and sector explainers, white-paper summaries, and conference or launch coverage. Commissioned work is researched and written independently; clients may review drafts for factual accuracy but do not control conclusions, framing or headline. Where commissioned content is commercial in nature and appears on Media Rounds properties, it is labelled clearly for readers as sponsored.
Advertising and sponsorship
Media Rounds offers display advertising, section sponsorships and newsletter placements across a growing daily-news audience. Our Advertise page outlines formats and principles in detail. In brief: advertisements are visually distinct from editorial content, sponsorships never purchase coverage or soften it, and we do not run deceptive or imitation-news creative. Advertisers gain a brand-safe environment — verified reporting, no scraped content, no clickbait, no inflammatory material adjacent to your message — and straightforward campaign reporting.
Media partnerships and network amplification
As part of the 24World Media network, we can coordinate campaigns and coverage across multiple outlets for launches, public-interest initiatives and major events. Network partnerships are structured transparently: each participating outlet keeps editorial control of its own pages, commercial elements are disclosed to readers where required, and performance is reported outlet by outlet rather than in a single blended figure.
Consulting: newsroom standards and news SEO
Publishers building or rebuilding digital news operations can engage our team for practical, implementable consulting: editorial workflow design, desk and byline structures that satisfy modern authorship standards, corrections and ethics frameworks, technical SEO for news publishing (crawl health, structured data, news sitemaps and Search Console operations), and mobile performance standards. Our guidance reflects what we run ourselves — the same structures, verification checks and tooling this site operates under every day — and engagements conclude with written documentation your team can keep using.
Research and briefing services
For organizations that need to track a sector, a market or a policy debate, our desks prepare scheduled briefing digests: concise, sourced summaries of developments in a defined area, delivered on your cadence. Briefings cite their sources so your team can go deeper where needed, and they are produced to the same verification standard as our published reporting.
What we do not do
We do not sell editorial coverage, publish paid stories disguised as news, run press-release dumps, or operate content farms. We do not accept assignments requiring deceptive sourcing, undisclosed conflicts of interest, fabricated engagement, or attacks on a client’s competitors dressed as journalism. If a request conflicts with our Code of Ethics, we will say so plainly and suggest an honest alternative where one exists.
Working with us
Most engagements begin with a short conversation about goals, audience, timeline and budget. From there we propose scope, deliverables, responsibilities and pricing in writing — no surprises later. Timelines depend on the service: licensing can start within days, commissioned features are scheduled against desk capacity, and consulting engagements begin with an audit phase. To start, use our Contact page and tell us which service you are interested in; a member of the team will respond with next steps and, where relevant, examples of comparable work.
Media Rounds is published by 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067. We are glad to discuss any of the services on this page, and equally glad to tell you honestly when we are not the right fit.
How engagements are priced and scheduled
Pricing depends on scope, and it is agreed in writing before work begins. Licensing is typically priced by volume and section; commissioned features are priced per piece or as a monthly retainer against an agreed number of deliverables; consulting is priced by phase, beginning with an audit whose findings and fixed recommendations you own whether or not you continue with us. We do not charge for initial scoping conversations, and we do not begin billable work without a signed summary of deliverables, responsibilities and deadlines. If we cannot meet a deadline honestly, we say so before you commit rather than after.
Who you will work with
Every engagement is led by a named editor or producer who is your single point of contact. Behind that contact sit the desks — world and politics, business and technology, sports and entertainment, health and science — whose verification habits shape the published site. Work you commission benefits from the same habits: sources are checked, figures are traced to their origin, and drafts pass an editor who did not write them. That second pair of eyes is built into every price we quote.
Standards that apply to client work
Commissioned and licensed content carries the same factual standard as our journalism. We will not produce material that misleads your audience, impersonates independent coverage where it is in fact paid placement, or makes claims the evidence cannot support — including claims about your own products. Where the law requires disclosure of a commercial relationship, the content is disclosed. Clients tell us this discipline is why their audiences keep reading; it is also non-negotiable on our side.
Getting the most from an engagement
Clients get the best results when they share context early — the audience, the decision the content should inform, and the constraints we must respect — and when factual review is prompt. We, in turn, commit to realistic schedules, early drafts for substantial pieces, and a named contact who answers messages within one business day.
