You know what I’ve been thinking? From a successful girls volleyball season to, now, one in girls basketball, Lynn Tech coach Kaitlyn Wechsler didn’t miss a beat.
Two games, two wins for the girls basketball Tigers after victories against Innovation and Nashoba this past Friday and Tuesday.
Thanks to an up-tempo pace and a versatile scoring attack, Tech has already scored 125 points – again, in two games.
In a 52-28 triumph against Innovation, Allison Morales had 25 points, 11 rebounds, 7 steals, four blocks and three assists. She was followed by Engelyz Bingham (17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals), Aliyah Volquez (5 points, 3 assists, 2 steals), and Amy Huynh (5 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists).
Fast forward a few days, and they did it again, winning 73-48 against helpless Nashoba.
Once again, Engelyz Bingham (17 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists), Morales (23 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 blocks), Huynh (14 points, 3 rebounds), Volquez (9 points, 9 rebounds, 7 steals, 4 assists, 2 blocks), and Niya Bingham (6 points, 6 rebounds) all got the job done.
To the 2-0 Tigers, keep pouncing.
