SAUGUS — One person was taken to a hospital after they were stabbed at the Kowloon Restaurant, police said.

A spokesperson for Saugus police confirmed one person had been stabbed sometime after 9 p.m. Saturday. It was not immediately clear what condition they were in or what precipitated the incident.

The stabbing marks the second incident of violence at the iconic Route 1 landmark in less than two weeks, after a brawl the night before Thanksgiving eve. Four people were charged in the aftermath of the fight, including two 19-year-olds.

No further information was immediately available Saturday evening.
