BOSTON — Lynn Public Schools recently visited City Fresh Foods, which partners with Chartwells to provide students with tasty and culturally reflective meals. Chartwells and City Fresh Foods are in the midst of the first year of their partnership.
Representatives from LPS, Chartwells, and Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson attended the visit. During the visit, City Fresh Food walked representatives through their facilities and provided valuable insights into their production methods and commitment to quality.
“It’s on us to deliver learning and nourishment that reaches students,” said Resident District Manager Kevin Richardson. “I think this partnership takes us a step forward, and we’re grateful for the partnership.”
City Fresh Foods provides 5,000 meals a day to Lynn Public Schools. They have been in business since 1994.
