According to Historic Lynnfield Co-Chair Karen Nascembeni, featured items at this year’s Country Store include beautifully adorned fresh wreaths and swags, Vermont cheddar cheese, a ham and bean supper to go, Mrs. Claus’ Snacks and Lunch Kitchen, Popcorn, Singing Marshes Jelly and Jam, Village Home and Garden Club’s evergreen arrangements, and the Centre Club Lottery Contest.
Nascembeni said in a press release that craft enthusiasts will find Busy Fingers’ homemade blankets and aprons, Nora’s Honey and Beeswaxed Candles, Handmade by Hollis’ Christmas ornaments, Seriously Magical Creations’ crocheted stuffed animals and blankets, and She Creates’ children’s sensory kits.
The new Children’s Holiday Book Bazaar will offer children a wide array of holiday books. The “penny” candy store, sponsored by the Kilgore family, will return to the store, and the Holiday Ornament Decorating station, hosted by the Nascembeni and DiFillippo families, will allow children to create ornaments as souvenirs. Connor’s Kindness will operate the popular North Pole Fishing Hole.
Entertainment highlights will include a performance by the Voices of Hope chorus at 10 a.m. and Santa’s arrival on a fire truck from the North Pole at 10:45 a.m. This year, Lynnfield Music Department students will sing acoustic Christmas Carols starting at 3 p.m.
